Burn regulations vary within each of our member communities. Currently, open burning is ONLY authorized within the City of Arroyo Grande. Please refer to the City of Arroyo Grande Burn Regulations and download a copy of the regulations as well as a blank permit. The permit must be completed and submitted for approval to the Five Cities Fire Authority at 140 Traffic Way, Arroyo Grande prior to any burning.
The City of Grover Beach and the community of Oceano have a no-burn municipal code and policy. No exceptions.
